What are the suggested seabed condition for anchoring (sand,mud etc.) and the seabed conditions that will not give good holding power for anchor?

Not good holding - loose sand, gravel , shells, weed/sea grasse or rocky bottom. Important is to get local information on any anchoring ground and previous history.
