I am an experienced Captain. Mainly sailed on Chemical Tankers.
There is a formula for the height correction (also called DIP).
With these formula, you can create a table of height correction by using different values of the height of eye.

Good day sir, I told him the same with reference to nautical almanac as well as the formula as the same table is given in the almanac as well.but he told me i am wrong...
I am not sure if there is any other method to get the height correction values. Do let me know if you get to know any other method.
