First is avoid last minute action.
Second is action will depend upon type of situation and conditions.
Open sea give hard a starboard and use engine as needed.

Engines Full Astern and give hardover to the opposite side, with both anchors let go.

Hard over to opposite side and when bow starts turning then hard over to other ship side to keep ur stern clear
