I have not seen hatch so far marked with ship's name. Only letter H for helicopter to know the hatch he can land. Details of marking as per ICS guide for helicopter landing.
Any helicopter landing on ship can see its name from other places. Its written in aft, on both sides of bow and both sides of bridge wings. I dont see a need to be marked on hatch cover.

Guide to Helicopter operations recommends various features to be included in markings depending on the location of the helicopter working area and size of the ship. Considering this guide as an Internationally accepted standard, the ship's name is sort of mandatory (basis size of working area).
